2007 Container Project 

We are preparing to send a container of needed goods and equipment to Honduras.  We encourage churches and individuals to help us in a practical way by donating items such as those listed below.

What Is Needed:

·        Housewares: Appliances (Stoves, Refrigerators, Freezers), blankets, sewing machines, pots & pans, etc.

·        Building goods: pipe, nails, wire, glue, insulation, pumps, swimming pool filters.  Pool filters are good to clean water before it reaches the purifier.  A person can thus clean water much faster and cheaper.

·        Eyeglasses: Of all kinds.

·        Medical Equipment and material.

·        Health: Vitamins and personal hygiene products.

·        Footwear: New flip flops.

·        Tools: Agricultural, building and construction tools and equipment in good working condition including generators, hand tools, ladders, lawn & garden, riding lawn mower, push mower

·        Mechanic Tools.

·        AV Equipment: Audio and video equipment, PA systems.

·        Bibles: Spanish New Testaments and Bibles in good condition.

·        Christian tracts in Spanish.

·        Food: Good quality canned goods only.

·        Vehicles:  boats and motors, other vehicles, motorcycle.

·        Money:  It takes money to ship a container.

What Not To Send:

• Certain items are not cost-justified for sending out in a shipping container. Clothing is very inexpensive and most American sizes are too large for Hondurans.
• An additional caution is not to send any equipment item that is more than 10 years old or that would be impossible to service overseas.

We reserve the right to sell certain unneeded items as thrift.  Any proceeds from thrift will be used to help pay container shipping costs.
